Board of Directors Andreas Stavropoulos: Draper Fisher Jurvetson
Andreas Stavropoulos is a Managing Director at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where he serves on the boards of a number of private companies. His past investments include Mobile 365 (acquired by Sybase) and Centerpost (acquired by West Corp.). Andreas focuses primarily on software investments (consumer/internet and enterprise infrastructure), mobility, and technology-enabled services. Prior to joining DFJ, Mr. Stavropoulos was with McKinsey & Company's San Francisco office, where he worked with senior management teams of corporate clients with an emphasis on information technology. Prior to McKinsey, he was a Senior Analyst at Cornerstone Research, a financial and economic consulting firm that helps resolve complex issues arising in high-profile business litigation. Mr. Stavropoulos is a summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Harvard College in computer science. He also holds an MS degree in computer science from Harvard University and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and graduated first in his class. Evangelos Simoudis joined Trident Capital in 2005 as a Venture Partner and has been a Managing Director since 2007. Evangelos focuses on investments in software and Internet businesses. Prior to entering venture capital, Evangelos had more than 20 years experience in high-technology industries, in executive roles spanning operations, marketing, sales and engineering. His experience as a technology executive includes serving as President and CEO of Customer Analytics, a Trident-backed, eCRM company acquired by Xchange, Inc. (NASDAQ: EXAP), and as Vice President of Business Intelligence Solutions at IBM. Evangelos' current directorships include DesiHits, Doppelganger, SeaTab Software and Vidavee. Prior to joining Trident, Evangelos was a partner at the venture capital firm Apax Partners, where he served as a member of the board of directors at Bristol Technology (acquired by Hewlett-Packard (HPQ)), Composite Software, Confluent Software (acquired by Oracle Corporation (ORCL)) and Princeton Softech. Evangelos earned a PhD in computer science from Brandeis University and a BS in electrical engineering from Caltech. Vince Vannelli: KPG Ventures
Vince Vannelli has over 20 years of operational, technology sales and business development experience, including leadership positions at several global technology companies. From 1997 to 2000, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Network Products Division of Inktomi Corporation. Prior to that position, Vince was responsible for all Inktomi sales as Vice President of Worldwide Field Operations. Before his work with Inktomi, Vince spent eight years at Hitachi Data Systems where he held multiple positions, including Senior Vice President and General Manager, United States. He directed Hitachi's sales channels, service, and field marketing departments and was responsible for a $1.2 billion revenue base. Prior to joining Hitachi, Vince worked for IBM Corporation where he spent eight years in various sales and marketing leadership roles throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Ross Levinsohn: Velocity
Over the past 20 years, Ross had been on the forefront of media innovation and transformation. In 2004, he was tapped by News Corporation Chairman Rupert Murdoch to devise the digital strategy for the company. In executing that plan, he helped transform the company to become the global leader amongst its peers in the digital media space through dynamic investments and strategic management, including the acquisitions of Myspace and IGN.com, which helped vault the company to create a digital powerhouse. He also oversaw the acquisitions of Askmen.com, Scout.com, Newroo, KSolo, amongst others. As President of Fox Interactive Media, Ross managed all day-to-day operations for the company from its inception until December 2006. Under his leadership, the FOX Network of sites became one of the largest on the Internet with record setting growth with more than 140 million monthly users. He also oversaw a partnership with Google, which will yield the company nearly $1 billion in advertising from the search and monetization leader. Previously, Ross served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Fox Sports Interactive Media. In this role, he oversaw the online, wireless and broadband presence for Fox Sports. Earlier in his career, Ross held senior management positions with AltaVista Network, an early pioneer and leader in search, CBS Sportsline, where he oversaw all content and development for the top rated sports site and pay cable giant HBO. He also spent time in advertising at Saatchi and Saatchi and in sports management and marketing with ProServ and Lapin and Rose Communications. Fred Davis is founder of the leading music law firm Davis Shapiro Lewit & Hayes, which represents music stars including Linkin Park, Usher and Kanye West. Fred is a digital music, rights and distribution expert. His clients include companies such as YouTube, MySpace, Joost, Rhapsody and last.fm. Courtney William Holt is EVP Digital for MTV Networks Music and Logo Group leading digital business and innovation initiatives. Michael Ovitz co-founded Creative Artists Agency (CAA) in 1975 and served as its Chairman until 1995 during which he grew the agency from a start-up organization to the world’s leading talent agency, representing more than 1,000 of the most notable actors, directors, musicians, screenwriters and other personalities in the entertainment industry. Ovitz helped negotiate several major international business mergers and deals within the entertainment industry including Matsushita’s acquisition of MCA/Universal, the financial rescue of MGM/United Artists, and Sony’s acquisition of Columbia Pictures.
